Phil, agree that the "upgrade" is only really worthwhile if the lights perform better than standard.
However from feedback in this Thread, it appears the MTEC's while providing a more piercing white light (which looks great), however dont light up the road as well!
If it turns out that there is not enough light emitted to drive safely and actually see whats coming up around the next corner, I will be going back to OEM straight away! Safety comes before asthetics !
Totally agree FR_Flavoured - let us know how you get on with the MTECs once you've tested them...
I'm taking the Mtec bulbs out at the weekend and going back to my Ring Xenon Max +100% bulbs. They might be a bit yellow but a least I can see the road better at night
Snap. Fitted the MTECS yesterday and they are a dissapointment. Not very bright. Don't light up road signs enough. Should have just paid the extra and gone for Phillips ultra vision in the first place.
The stock bulbs are better than these.
Big thumbs down from me.
It was a big improvement driving last night with these fitted again http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H7-Ring-Xenon-Max-100-12v-55w-NEW-pair.html
I bought these from the same Site - EXTREME WHITE XENON SIDELIGHTS...

It's a con. The Ad states "These bulbs have a blue colour to the glass and project a daylight white light."
I agree they have a Blue colour to the glass, however when I fitted these in mine (which I believe are the same side lights others have used here?) they infact dont shine daylight white - more a dim tinted Blue (with not so much white)!? Anyone else agree, or was it just me? LOL.
Another disappointment.
The Bosch are supposed to be available at Halfords but aren't on their website and I can't find anywhere else selling them

Oh dear looks like a trip to Halfords is coming up
Are you becoming a bulb collector
