How much would you sell the Super T's for? After a second set of rims to have spare and road tyres wrapped around them for a wet trackday :)

The Compo's are getting some nice R888's

You at Oulton Saturday?

I'm thinking MO's too Jenk.

I will be at Oulton, but in Bens car not mine.

Cheers Dave. I emailed the guy and he said he'd relisted them but i hadn't had time to check.

Haha, i might give that a go! I'm after some red or silver ones for the wheels, just can't decide which colour!?

After a visit to Oulton Park yesterday, I had a bit of inspiration and felt like doing some work on the car today :)

Last week I started to remove some of the sound deadening from under the carpet. Not the most fun in the world, but pleasing once it's out.

Before:

And after:

I've still got the spare wheel well, and a lot more to do in the main parts of the car.

My strut braces went away for powder coating as they were faded and the paint was chipping off. I decided on black rather than red this time.

Excuse the dirty engine bay:

I also managed to fit the MO's today. I'm really not sure if I like them or not. I've always had multispokes on all of my Ibiza's, and really like the look of anthracite on a silver car. So by putting satin black 5 spokes on it has thrown me a little. I'm going to get some center caps and stickers sorted to break up the black, and if i do decide to keep them they will get the correct size tyres as the previous owner decided to put 195/40's on them. The car is filthy at the moment but a few pictures:

I also removed my fogs as one of them had a crack in, and have ordered some AeroCatches for the bonnet.

Thanks. Still undecided at the moment but i'll give it some time.

Just ordered some silver center caps. After they arrive and are fitted i'll decide on a sticker colour for them.

I really like the Mo's on it. They suit the car really well. I think once you get the centre caps and the stickers back on them it will make your mind up to keep them.

I know what you mean about the inspiration thing, I had to change the thermostat housing on mine today and its got me itching to do more of the stuff that I have on my 'to-do' list.

Just been through this thread and its a very good read :D

good job with the car, and it looks sweet with the MO's!

I like em, but I'm biased :) maybe if youchanged the colour or somthing you might like em better:shrug:

I'm starting to like them more every time i look at them :)

Cheers dude. It definately needs the tyres sorting and the rears need spacing quite a bit too.

Thanks mate. I'm going to order stickers over the next few days and see what looks best. It's always good getting some inspiration, can't wait to get some of the bits sorted on mine now.

I had silver pretty much decided on but now you've gone and put red back into my head! Haha. I may order both and see what one looks best.

The wheels look good,

but its a tough one between them and the T's but again i am biased.

Cheers Will. I still love the Super T's but do like the MO's alot too.

The original plan was the buy the Comps, then decide which set out of them and the Super T's suited the car more, and sell the least suited on. I've got 3 spare super T's in the shed i was going to use for track wheels. I'm now tempted to sell the three spares on, then keep both the full set of Comps and Super T's, one for track, one for everyday.

I've made a decision today that i'm going to run the original Super T's as my everyday wheels as they've got fairly new tyres on them, then use the MO's as track wheels, and sell the 3 spare Super T's on. The MO's really need new tyres anyway, so i can get something decent to use on track.

The sticker/cap combination will either be silver cap and silver sticker, or, satin black cap and red sticker. Still undecided until my caps come through and are trial fitted on the car.
