Over all this bad weather and hitting a fe wpot goles I have checked my alloys and cant seem any damage.

However the steering wheel now hangs slightly to the left when going in a straight line.

Is my tracking out or is it something more serious than that?

Could be, but a tracking check will be the first port of call.
My wheel has always been ever so slightly off, which bugs me, but that doesnt mean my tracking is off, just that the steering wheel isnt exactly aligned with straight forward for the wheels if you follow my drift.
If the tracking is off majorly then you will constantly need to correct the steering one way or the other.

ahhh right but I never noticed it like that before.

Must say it feels a bit more stiff turning right then left when turning.

Best get the tracking done.

Where ever the wife tells me
Don't get it done on the cheap, you will be wasting your money
Cost depends on a few things, how far out it is, if all the lock-nuts are freed off etc. as this takes longer to do
expect anything from £60-£120
If the car is 'out' you will notice a big difference in the way it feels after it is adjusted or you have any damaged parts (from hitting the pot holes) replaced

Was the steering wheel off centre before hitting the pot-holes?

Check your tyre pressures too

No I never notcied the sterring wheel being off until after I hit the pot holes so that makes me thing pot holes have done it. Check all the alloys and no sign of any dents ot damage of any kind.

Yeah my next job in the week is get my tyres pressures sorted out.
