im thinking a hose isnt tight somewhere, in a local performance centre now, there checking it over... shouldnt be maf, and it will definatly be related to the cooler install as it was fine before.

bit of a bastid mate tbh...

best way is bumper off, wheel arch liners off, old inlet manny piping off, undo map sensor, undo pipe from smic to inlet manny, take out smic, take off pancake pipe.. i left the old charge pipe on, its not in the way.

take the silicon hose off to the turbo.

after that you start fitting your fmic

advice, cable tie the cooler to the crash bar first centrally, to mark where it will sit, or itll sit too low if you follow the natural rout of the pipes.

1st pipe is the one with the map sensor mount on.. this goes onto the inlet manny and down behind the headlight

then you attatch the longest silicone coupler to that, its bent round 45 degrees ish, strait pipe to intercooler, out the other side the u shaped bend, then a pipe from that up past battery, then the long bent pipe, then a short reduced inlet pipe, then the pipe with the n75 and dv outlets goes to the turbo

be aware the u shaped pipe creates problems when reattatching bumper as it sticks out, i had to lose the foglights and the surrounds, but can keep the grilles/

make sure everything is fappin tight.
oh and the bumper is a pita to get back on aswell, 2 person job really.

James, is your car now sorted?
what it feel like - if it isnt sorted yet, let us know once it is!

i'm very interested in this too, any way of doing it so you dont lose the fogs - i have the facelifted model.

It two L's actually hence the PhiLLc :cartman:
Shame you arent closer i would have come and Laughed er i mean helped. :D

b*(&%X..... thats what i say to ya....

well, i think i may have cracked it, the top pipe, now being the charge pipe reduces at the end to match the turbo outlet, one pipe was a little too long, never thought so it went inside the larger diameter pipe, thinking now that will cause a shite airflow and ultimatly lag, which is whats going on there.

pipe off tomorrow, chop to size and ill create a smoother bend aswel.

should crack it i think

opinions, would this cause an issue... id think so

no way of keeping the fogs mate... just not enough room.

install fairly easy i suppose just have a little problem now, which makes the job seem harder, but ultimatly fairly easy

dont think this kit will fit the lcr mate....

loads of customs on lcr though, dont think the bumpers had to be hacked on those

by the way on the facelift cupra bumper the fmic looks fappin amazing.
