HELP! rough idle, losing power

recently my var has been runing a bit rough on idle does not stick at 750rpm keep going up the 850rpm then coming down, now it seems that it isnt as quick before? serviced it 200 miles ago put ngk platinum plugs in it. possible coil pack? any help would be appreicated. thanks

could be your MAF. Try unplugging it to see what difference it makes. check its not dirty and the wiring is ok. MAFs can become less sensitive over time but not necessarily broken.

not got any pics but its a sensor sticking out of the induction pipe between the air filter and the engine. should be easy access. do a google search for maf sensor replacement on a leon or golf and there will probably be a thread somewhere that can help.

Car has definatley lost power, cant hear the turbo spooling up anymore seems like its not working no engine light on? any ideas people? thanks
