I wouldn't expect them to honour it bill after 50+ thousand miles, and having killed 5 turbos attached to that mani. If your tubular hasn't either cracked or warped a flange in 50K miles, I'll be stunned.
If the new one lasts as long it's no biggy.
The hastle of new downpipe, lines etc, new exhaust housing for turbo etc was too much for me to stomach after the full engine rebuild, so I replaced it with the same.
Fitting was no big deal. (stealth did it)

Also I know what I have works, and is faily reliable. More power is unnecessary, so running it lower boost, and safe is the way forward.

450+ in the polo must be a major joke. I know it's hardly useable in mine which is heavier, has wider tyres/track etc.

Good to say you can though.

time will tell. every JS mani I have had has cracked in same places. the environment & application will crack anything at these levels. I find the usual arguement of cast chosen due to them not cracking is what "cracks me up" tho, as everything cracks.

Totally agree re power and usability.. its not.. said so all along.
Apexi and gear limit boost and switchable levels will hopefully trim it into fast chariot which can be used and full on for dyno days :p
Reliability can be extended when its running on lower levels as we know. G'box with thank the lower levels.

:)

right... finally..

Apexi on and I think 99% setup with gear limit boost workign as it should. fiddly effing job it is too.
stock boost on apexi off is 10psi
setting A runs 15psi, limited in 1st and 2nd then unleashed
setting B runs 28psi, limted in 1st, 2nd, 3rd then unleashed

Max boost currently about 26-28psi

One word........ insane :)

Having seen this in the flesh a few times now I can also vouch for what a tidy and professional install this is, and a complete sleeper too.

I've even started doing double-takes on other Polos I pass on the road just in case I get caught with my pants down

The 13 other files flashed and logged, fed back and adjusted that I have to get to the final trimming adjustment done on the dyno was pure luck of course.. lol

Vince is a good guy I respect a lot. Combined skills the end result is excellent.

yep, and done whilst you were on the phone
neater again
:)

went out earlier and checked it.. adjusted the apexi some more..
reduced lowes setting A which i could have sworn was 15psi previously, but today same duty cycle was 25psi.. now down to what i think is a more appropriate 20psi setting.. so 3 settings effectively now give 12psi on OFF, 20psi on A and 26psi on B

gear limit on A is 1st, 2nd
gear limit on B is 1st, 2nd, 3rd

I'll run through what the settings are tomorrow with you
needless to say B is savage when unleached in 4th gear onwards, and just scrabbling on its limited 3rd boost

:)
