I guess that depends if you want it to grip or not. The standard SEAT graph is quite similar reducing torque low down to keep the torque steer down, its wound back to allow it to get some traction.

Smooth as they come on the road, headline figures are not the be all and end all, because you still need to put all that power down onto the road.

If you want to win a RR shoot out then I'm sure its marvellous but out in the real world its pretty much unusable, without some traction modifications and some driver skill.

The graphs can appear steep when they are shortened, over a longer smoothing path they do not look as mountainous.

Very well said. That is exactly the reason why I installed a Quaiffe diff on the Cuup. Best modification I have ever done. But also some los in power, so that is what I am trying to get back ............ The ITG has convinced me, so thanks for the graphs !!!:D

I am considering a diff myself in the New Year along with a new clutch. Its too much of a handful now when your pressing on the power. :) Especially in the wet weather.

The intake made a good increase, and its sounds like Darth Vader gargling petrol too. ;)

yes, its not just me, mine has gone down at lats 3mpg over an entire months driving.

im presuming its down to the colder air temps as result of the heat shield. I know after a journey my filter is cold to touch. colder air means more fuel can be put in

Havent managed over 30mpg avg since fitting :s

Okay guys, I need some help with this one. What is 30mpg ?
I know that avg stand for average, but I don't understand the mpg part. I think it means the engine consumes more petrol ???

If so, than it could be wise to remap it, or am I wrong ? Greetz Leonneke.

The mpg means "Miles per Gallon" so you are correct about the more petrol. Eg the car can cover 30 miles (instead ok using Km) and use 1 gallon of petrol (instead of using litres).

Okay, thanks for the explanation. Now I understand. I think it also has a lot to do with the mapping of the car. I mean, if you change anything in the 'hardware', it is mostly wise to remap it again. For instance, my first mods were the intake & a Full Miltek. Including a very well done remap. ( Custom Tuning or Custom Chip ) Far more power and my MPG lowered :funk:
In Holland there are not a lot of tuners who can do this job good. ( Just 2 ) There are a lot of companys that sell power chips. But changing hardware means custom chipping. Better air flow should lower the fuel use at normal driving.
On the other side, standing on the gaspedal always means .... slurppppp ....!!!!!

Turbo's are located in the same place but the diverter valve is mounted on the turbo side on the FR engine, where as the Cupra has a remote dv around the front of the engine. That is the difference you may of heard about that makes you think your turbo location is different but it isn't. :)

KO3 version is available, Awesome have advertised it here - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=247014

Brilliant thanks for the replies, and yea must be the dv I've heard about!

Does tht mean the dv is harder to change on my fr? I need to change my standard one aswell, may aswell do at the same time.
