Having done the rods recently, I am now looking for more power because I know the engine can handle it now! The two options I'm considering is the JBS IHI turbo kit or a CR Turbos hybrid K04-022 and the JBS K04 manifold, Piper RS downpipe and CAT, etc., both offer around the 350bhp mark. I think both end up around the same price, around £2300 and I think after looking at all my existing turbo parts I could get around £1200 for my stuff.
We'll see what the new year brings!
*watches with anticipation
Sounds very interesting! You mean this sort of thing?

Rob,
If the k04 can get you to 350 going by Bill's questioning this we will say 350 at a max rather than potential to get more. With your previous best at 317 so maybe you'll get a bit more if the engine wasn't the best at the time.
This means for over a grand you get an extra 30bhp then you're stuck? So would you then get bored again? Is it worth going for something a little bigger so you can reach the 400 if YOU wanted to at a later date.
or is it the final fling with the car where you would get bored and swap the car for the focus rs for example that you like? Or do you tend to keep it for a while
Knowing you you'll want to change this again at a later date (not that its bad your car is one of the finest on the forum) but will cost more again just wondering if you are to change again that you should think about future proofing it??
