going to have to dig the car out later as well, up to aberdeen this afternoon, worse up there as well!

Could you not fabricate a cover over your car there would only protect it from above but better than nowt!??

At least you know its not getting eaten with the road salts and chipped.
Also that 20 layers of Natty Blue Waxy will be holding off any other contamination.

Shame about the cheaper manifolds but that's the risk you take with buying stuff as soon as its released, but usually it goes up in price.

One good thing about the snow is it's saving you doing more fiddling, lol

But this doesn't mean its stopped you for spending more on it though;)

Got some new stuff arriving from Forge to start the year. I got Forge to make me up a 63mm coldside intercooler pipe leading up to the TB, it has provisions for the MAP sensor, DV and a WMI nozzle. Couple of other bits too, 76mm t-piece for the turbo intake and a 25-19mm reducer:

After damaging the vacuum nipple on my 007P, I drilled it out and fitted a -3AN fitting, turned out good.

More to come from Forge soon.

Well after a bit of a booboo by Forge - they sent me the wrong intercooler and the pipe they made was too short - they have sorted it out very quickly and sent me the correct intercooler and a longer pipe, so it's all good now! I'll take some pics of the new intercooler tomorrow before I fit it.

The reason for the new Forge intercooler is because although the Ebay 'cooler was actually pretty good, it did suffer from heat soak, once it got warmer it had a tough time shedding the heat again. So I got a universal type 08 intercooler from Forge. Pics tomorrow.

I also have an INA oil catch can kit and a new air filter coming soon, plus I am going twin nozzle on the water injection - larger nozzle just after the intercooler for maximum cooling and a small nozzle just before the throttle body for improved octane rating - which will hopefully allow me to dial in more timing. Parts on the way from Devils Own as we speak.

It's the same height and width as the ebay one I have on just now, only it has a 60mm thick core, the ebay one is 76mm thick, so I'm thinking the thinner core will help increase response and reduce heat soak. Forge rate it to 450bhp so it's plenty capable for now and the future.

Wasn't a huge fan of the PA one no.
