It's 4mm ID silicon hose. One is the N249 bypass, and the other goes in the car to the gauges.

I'll have to wait for some daylight and go take an up to date pic.

No probs. Remember the front track is a lot wider than the rear though, hence why I only put 5mm on the front. It's squared it up nicely.

So can I ask as you put on the braces at different intervals, how much better was it on adding the lower front, upper front and then the rear strut braces. E.g. was it a lot/ a little/ enough to warrant it. Which made the most difference etc.

Thinking I'll defo do the lower front strut, ummiing on the the rest...

I added the rear strut brace first, and it did feel more planted on the corners and I felt I could push it more than I could before. This made the biggest difference.

Then the upper front strut brace went on and it tightened it up a little more, but I don't think as much as the rear did.

Both together is enough of a difference to warrant buying them I think. Certainly no worse than without.

A lot of people say that arbs transform the car more than anything, but they are expensive and other mods are a higher priority on my list.

Regarding the above, I have a standard car which i fitted a front upper brace to and then a rear ARB. The rear ARB has been the best money i've spent on any mod, on any car. The brace helped a bit, but after fitting the rear ARB i now feel the brace has become redundant. What i'm saying is, if your gona get ARB's i would get them first as you may feel you don't need the bracing afterwards. If your not getting the ARB's go ahead with the bracing as it will be worth the cost;)

I'm curious as to how much difference it will make too. This shield makes a seal with the bonnet so no hot air should float over it and into the cone. A couple of cold air feeds should help too :)
