I recently mapped a Leon with a 2871 with the revo stage 3 code. The fueling was too lean so a tweeked map was made for it. Perfect fueling after that. It was all due to the positioning of the egt sensor. Ask revo for the new file.

would that be my leon

sorry i should add that this seems like a genuine mistake and i dont hold AMD responsible at all. i think they are a top tuner and have been perfect in every dealing ive had with them in the past.

Booked in for 10am tomorrow to get the map sorted. I'll have my daughter with me so I won't have a chance to have some fun until Sunday but at least I'll be able to give it some stick soon.

I have your bits buddy and a car that is bahaving badly. I think I'm doing some severe bore washing now, followed by toasting cars behind. I won't be doing any logs today.

I did buy a standard maf housing while I was out. Now I can eliminate that from the equation

It's just so bad on idle until it adapts. It shouldn't be like it, it needs to be sorted or everytime I clear a fault I have to wait for it to adapt.

Someone remind me.... Positives on fuel trim means it adding fuel, right?

I'll put some logs up tomorrow but it's running rich on idle (0.96) and now has improved on a run.... Seeing around 0.8 so why is it adding fuel? (if my memory hasn't failed as it's been so long between logs)

No thats right mate, it must be the pump or the injectors. My money would be on the pump, how many people run 550's on stock pump? but then again is the lambda is producing a rich figure, why is it adding fuel? or is it adding fuel because its not atomising right so it has to pump more in, hence the lambda reading?

Let me know if you want a hand fitting the pump mate.

 Interesting. There wasn't a problem with the 2871 eliminator's LCR's Revo Stage 3 fuelling.
My fuelling is perfect - but of course mine is the Revo Stage 3 map with an LC MAF element in an LCR housing. Makes you wonder, doesn't it..............

For the record, I doubt it's the pump or injectors.

I think sometimes we put too much reliance on adaption......it should idle fine straight out of the box. Assuming a full throttle body adaption has been done.
Do you have a usb vagcom lead, if so download unisettings off internet and adjust the fueling on idle. It will sort it out for you, just be sure that you know wether you need to add or remove fuel. If your trims are negetive......remove fueling, If positive trims.....add fueling. I often use unisettings/lemmiwinks/Vtune to get my fueling spot on.

Where is your egt dave, I believe that is the difference. Mine is at the top of the downpipe.

I have unisettings mate but if I add fuel it will make it worse.

For idling issues i would use channel032 and not 031. could it be a split hose or vac pipe somewhere.
