where u get the SSFMIC Steve?

I so want to stick one on mine but funds are extinct at the mo lol...all in due time with remap to follow ;)

don't see what would trigger the engine management light if you just done simple replacement of parts...

i got it from sere motors on here and then the pipework kit from forge. total cost was £445.00

i cant see the intake or the FMIC has caused the fault. might try the old intake jsut to see if that makes a difference untill i can get my laptop working or get a fault code reader on it.

the intake won't make a difference mate...been running the PD160 on mine from new (over 16 months now) and been fine, makes a slightly more whistley noise with it on

hmm...i should have got the used one that went into the for sale section earlier this year, but didn't want to spend the money at that time (lucky i didn't otherwise my holidays wouldn't have happened)

the sensor on the intercooler been plugged back in? the one that goes in the SMIC (which would now be on the FMIC)

the PD160 intake shouldnt make any difference as far as i know.

Could be the MAF, I had the EML and TCL on when I had a dead MAF.

Without vag-com we can only guess though, Steve..
