can cruise control be fitted to a ibiza cupra 02?

Always do a search mate first or you will be crucified on here!!

As your new though ill help you out A new indicator stalk can be purchased from seat for 100 odd quid i think. Then you need to hardwire it in (drop me a pm with your email address and i will email you a guide) then let the ECU know it has cruise control fitted using VAG-COM (not sure on exact code needed to activate CC but a search will bring it up )

Activating Cruise Control on a new ECU (DBW):

Factory fresh ECU's often come with cruise control de-activated. If this is the case, there will not be a letter "G" in the Component field of VAG-COM when connected to the Engine.

[Login - 11]
Enter 11463 to activate cruise control
[Do It!]

After doing this procedure, there should be a letter "G" in the Component field.

Same here Mat, I did 300 miles last week up and down the A1 and would have gave my left testicle for cruise control. Especially as going from BMW leather seats into Cupra ones is a big shcok to my numb ass.

hey mate do the wires go straight from the stalk to the ecu or do they do anything else on the way like a pedal

any help you could give would be great thanks

i dont know. i have to ask my mechanic who did this. i believe that tomorrow i will know.
