when you buy it do you get the full package bulbs the lot and is it wise to buy some spare bulbs

Yeah they look good, as long as you pick the right colour you want, no need for spare bulbs.

I have 6k also have had 8k but they were too blue imho.

Order spares if you like, I have never needed any.

How long did they take to arrive from the states? and did they get import duty?

I've got a replacement ballast coming, shipped almost 2 weeks ago, been sat at customs since Sunday 16th. Several calls to customs saying stuff from China is taking a week to clear (due to all the knock off fakes of shoes etc coming in) at the moment and to just keep checking the Parcelforce website that will be updated once its released. Still waiting a week and 2 days later

got mine delivered the other day
just finished fitting them, although i could do with some industrial strength velcro pads for the mounting of the ballasts

the one i bought came with side lights, which is annoying as i've bought a pair of LED side lights seperatley.
but good as spares i guess

the mod was very simple, i used a 20mm drill bit, and i have a dremel thing which i used to widen the hole (more of an oval shape to fit plug through gap)

i'm very pleased with the outcome, the full beams look less bright in comparison which is slightly worrying as i dont want to blind people, i think i'll get the alignment checked when i get chance.

Standard high beam is pants compared to hids, i have PIAA and even they are poor in comparison.
