I'v recently been getting a nasty knocking noise coming from the front nearside wheel area so I poped into AmD Essex today to get it checked over, after a lot of rocking the car on the clutch and a bit of head scratching the boy's traced the noise to a loose gearbox mount, God know's how that cam loose but it's now tight and I have no more noise

Looking very good there bud.
Which mount was loose? DBM or Transmission mount?
Have you had your clutch changed recently?

Had exactly the same happen on mine April this year - very strange!

I picked up some tear drop mirror covers tonight, thanks to Pete88
I'v also got got a few orders for Carbon wraped part's so the next couple of weeks are going to be busy

Forget swine flu Carbonitus is even more contageus, EmDee and Jonnyjonjon take note

The above part's have only had there first clear coat and will be rubbed down tomorrow and then have several more coat's of clear coat applyd.

Also after missing out on 3 bandsaw's in the last few minutes I finally won one on Ebay results below

The part's have just had there first coat of top clear coat and are now sunbathing in the garden, Unfurtunalty one of the mirros has'nt come out too good

The other one has got a small hole where the carbon lifted away for the surface.

I'v been doing a bit more reasearch into the carbon fibre and after seeing what Robdon achived I'm thinking about trying some of this

It's not "Real" carbon but it looks a hell of a lot easier to work with, most small part's could be covered in about 15-30 mins compared to 8+ hour's useing the real stuff.
I think I'll try it on the interior parts
