A little cheat I learnt a while ago was to use Hi tack roof flashing, It is basically the same as the expensive soundproofing but a lot cheaper and it DOES work.

Should of told me before, we got loads of that stuff at hoebase, could of given you a 20% discount! :D

But if you need any more for the doors/boot etc. i'd be happy to help/steal some

A few more little bit's done today.
Started off just intending to fit my rear strut brace but as the whole boot had to be striped I thought I might aswell soundproof it while it was all out.
Firstly seal up these little bugger's [:@]

mate where are these vents as i really need to seal mine up they sound cack from the out side

They are down behind the rear wheel arch's, you need to take out the back trim panel, the rear quarter trims, the parcel shelf supports and the side carpet's

I think these are the vents to save the pressure build up when closing the doors. Too much pressure = popped ear drums or not able to close door

I'v recently been getting a nasty knocking noise coming from the front nearside wheel area so I poped into AmD Essex today to get it checked over, after a lot of rocking the car on the clutch and a bit of head scratching the boy's traced the noise to a loose gearbox mount, God know's how that cam loose but it's now tight and I have no more noise :D
