There was a SCC Carbon Spliter in the for sale section, I think the seller was GAZ700.

What pipe's do you want to polish ??? A sander will get it smooth but it will put a lot of scratch's in the surface, depending what sort of finnish you want you will then have to work through serveral grades of wet and dry, and then maybe even a polishing mop.

DE-CAT ????...... Do you really want to be swaping CAT's come MOT time

There is a monthly meet in south east London if you fancy a bit of a drive, we normally get a pretty good turn out, the next one should be 8th August, check the southern meet's section.

my cars off the road at the mo waiting on gettin a remote for my car (still trying to find out which one i need) and programmed. then wheels resprayed by spit n polish oh yea an 1 tyre an an M.O.T

an DECAT i have a friendly M.O.T test centre its a good friend.

I've heard some good gains are to be had by getting rid of the hot gases quicker and more free flowing

but should be back on the road mid august if Im up an running by the 8th i'll be there will be nice to see some other lcr's but mines not in great condition at the mo due to some funkin thiefs!!!!!!

hope you take the car cleaning forward to other sow and sine events this year and kick ass!

A few more little bit's done today.
Started off just intending to fit my rear strut brace but as the whole boot had to be striped I thought I might aswell soundproof it while it was all out.
Firstly seal up these little bugger's [:@]
25072009336.jpg

I forgot to get after pic's but these were just sealed up with loads of Duck tape, These vent vibrate a lot when you turn the bass up.
Next up, soundproofed the boot floor and side's, A little cheat I learnt a while ago was to use Hi tack roof flashing, It is basically the same as the expensive soundproofing but a lot cheaper and it DOES work.

The bass now sounds a lot more punchy and less distorted and hte rattles on the outside have been greatly reduced.

Next up Strut brace
Hugh's Engineer Rear Strut brace

These are so simple to fit,

Again I forgot the after pic's  but basically the fixing plate just clamps into the opening at the top of the rear strut, When all the carpet and trim's are back on you just extend the threaded end's on the bar out to the bracket's

Big thanks to Unclefester for the strut brace ;)
