The part with the actual key blade is in 2 halfs. Take it apart (top and bottom come apart) and you'll see the slot for the trandsponder.
When you put it back together, put the key blade on the little knob, wind it round to coil the spring back up and snap the 2 bits back together

Now when you say top and bottom come apart, how exactly should I do this?
I have a natural ability to break everything I touch. It was only five minutes ago that I completely shattered a pop-stud trying to remove the b-pillar trim
EDIT: Thought I'd found a way, and just ended up shattering the plastic around the blade Gonna have to buy a new top half now, but at least I can re-use the cut blade from my broken one.
