Ive got Low Pass Filter and High Pass Filter built into the amp, crossover slope LPF/FULL/HPF , remote bass control, gain control and its 2ohm stable, so i can i think, wire it up to 2 Subs:happy:

All I need is some decent speaker wire to connect the Sub to the Amp. Any suggestions on that?

Also, mounting? i was going to have the sub facing out (towards the back of the car), in the right forward corner(nearest to the seats on the right side of the boot), and mount the amp above it, on the back of the rear seat. Sound okay?

Also, the amp has a remote start, does that mean that aswell as the RCA cables, you wire the remote wire to the headunit, so the amp only powers up when the headunit is turned on?

Thats my only concern so far, that and getting the cable into the cabin, from the battery, and where to mount the fuse, and the ground.......:help:

I'm trying to reply on my ipod so apologys if it doesnt work.

Make sure you put fuse as close to battery as possible

Yes you need to run remote as well as rca, remote is the blue wire

Amp can go anywhere where it wont get to hot because heat rises and it will cook itself (dont mount it upside down)

Earth you can take from the boot

Earth it either, under the seat belt mounting point, or down in the spare tyre pit. Make sure you sand off any paint, to rveal bare body, for a better grouding.

Ideally, you want to be running something nice and thick like 4gauge cable, but by the looks of what you have its 8guage, which is ok I suppose.... If you want to run 2 subs, I suggest getting a power cap, other wise they arent going to work very well... also the thicker cable will make the system work a lot better.

I wouldn't try and run 2 subs of that amp as it says 600w max and thats prob about 150w RMS.....Will power that sub nicely tho :)

If your planning on upgrading to a bigger or another amp I'd use 4 or 2 gauge cable but if keeping that one I'd say 8g is fine.

I'm not like you guys...
i dont know where to mount my amp, the sub i think im gonna put on the right side of the boot closest the seats, but dont know where to put the amp to save space in the boot. I want it on display, but not in the way.

Does anybody have like a technical drawing or similar of the boot of a leon, so i can plan where im gonna put it more effectively?

Cheers mate
yeah the remote windows is a mod you buy, im not sure if it would work on yours though.
Its called a KVW100 MODULE im sure it was only about £30-£40.
You just plug it into the port in the dash and wait for a beep or something, dead easy.
Do a bit of research see if it will work on yours.
