How do the brakes feel? Much noticeable difference? Been contemplating doing this myself, as standard brakes are a bit crap really, well mine are! lol.

my brakes were alright really, just had the disc's for a while, and was in need of pads. Got ferrado's (not DS's)

Still bedding them in mate tbh, only finished before, might go for a quick spin now like.

I think they could do with some more bleeding, but i'l do that at work when ive got another pair of helping hands haha

Are they bigger discs? Or just drilled and grooved but same size as standard? Yeah I've heard alot of good things about these ferrado pads, are they expensive?

yeah if you want ferrado DS, but i've always used ferrado pads and they seem to do the job :)
Theyre £30 for the normal ones.

The disc's are dimpled, grooved and vented, and the same size as the standard disc as i cba changing the hubs to put bigger ones on. (the carriers are attatched to the hub on our model, making it more of a ball ache to do a big brake conversion lol)

Theyre dimpled rather than drilled, as drilled disc's can loose some of theyre strength, and i dont fancy the brakes exploding under heavy braking

theyre zerosixty brake disc's and i got them from awesome gti.

Hope this helps Gordz :D

nice, sorry mate, was with the gf aswell and she wasnt enjoyin herself..

Also, after fitting these, im gettin a "buzzing" from them? At first i thought it was just because they needed bedding in, but ive done 200+ miles now and its still there.

They work fine, exceptionally well under hard braking, ABS still works, and nothing seems to be loose.
Ive got a feeling its the holder thingys on the brake pads rattling but im not sure. cant see any play in the discs, although i did have to drill the retaining screw out, so theyre now "audi style" lol (floating disc)

(The silver things)
Shouldnt see that being the cause of the buzzing though.. anybody have any ideas?

On an unrelated note, went to see my new pup today, still have to wait 4 weeks, but he is adorable :)

One of my disks doesnt have the small screw in it, it doesnt matter about the screw anyway, as when you bolt the wheel to the hub, the disks it tight anyway if you understand me ;) I beleive the little screw is only there to stop the disk falling off when you remove the wheel. Are you getting buzzing from both? It could the metal clips that hold the outer pad to the caliper and too loose and moving around slighty, ir could it be somethnig loose like a loose wire or somethnig rubbing slightly, ever so faintly on somethnig rotational and moving like a driveshaft to cause a slight whine like buzzing noise??
