didnt think but i reckon this will work , first made a 12mm t3 flange
15qxl5i.jpg

then redrilled /tapped/ground off and added a divider
2hi5btz.jpg

then bolted it to the turbo snail , mounted and welded it on
to lift it just enoegh to get a wider return in there plus will make it better for the exhaust when the v bands arrive and ill also be able to change to run both turbos one for the road use which im fitting at mo and the other is for the track ,

welded up and fitted the turbo , and thought , **** how do i get a 19mm socket in there lol ,, thought time foe a little adapting mod ,,,,
thought ill get a allen key and weld it on the nut ,,, simple ,

fits a treat

close but bolted back up and just made another return , at a 45deg angle to 5inch down to 45deg over transforbox , and piped back into top of sump

ill have to fire it up 2moz and see if it works any better fingers crossed , heres a quick video of the old one when just reving to 3000rpm

i was expecting the side exhaust pipe to be immensely loud TBH!!!

great work and skills by the way! ;)
lol nice one pal,but when i make things homemade ,my plan was to make sure its under the noise regulations,,so the best thing to was dampin the noise and the way was...............pampers nappies ,, lmao perfect and fireproof,,,,,,,,,,,,,:p

are they fireproof to the extent of the exhaust temps your car will be producing at peak??

I drove past an awesome Caddy on the M5 on my way to Swansea the other day... well... I saw a lot of nice cars..

A lovely looking red MK1 Leon FR TDi as I was going over the bridge.
A Yellow lambo Merchialargo, which hammered past me....
Oh and a lovely lovely Punto with TURBO drawn all over it....

bloody hell guys arsome replies ,, really glad you all like the idea ,,,, things seem to be going fine with a bit more here
first knock a hole for extra air
nq8f38.jpg

2lne5xi.jpg

may leave the top part off , lol extra 4inch of cold air may help
24grnyq.jpg

awaiting 2 pipes to fit airfilter
then thought make a quick flange to the old downpipe job done works a treat
11t39g8.jpg

quick fire up and the twat spins and spools now , lol
v49xti.jpg

i think ive sorted the old problem as there was a oil splash plate in this turbo and wasnt in the other , and no oil flying out now ,, left it reving at 5500 to make sure lol
next another little mod
jq182f.jpg
