and found a lump of 4inch alloy tube ideal for makeing a few things for future , ie alloy turbo short runner, air intake, maybe a new side pipe:lol:ideas are endless

no worries its because a side pipe is illegal to be fitted to a car unless it is classed as a kit car or made from factory with one , so ill have to remove it for the mot , grr

bit morethis afternoon, trail fit of the standard bumper as im undecided wheather i like it or not , ,i might just thow those other homemade ones one for the time
117h0u8.jpg

then thought might as well thow the propshaft on , fits like a glove
2b6ypd.jpg

and quick sterro pic
dyzbn.jpg

then thought i better chop a lump of pipe and start on the airfilter as theres not mutch room runing a 4inch pipe , im thinking i need cold air so going to chop a hole in the inner wing and one in the bonett ,thow a scoop on the bonett somert i dint want to do , but with all that turbo/engine heat , i may have to do it , im also going to run a 4inch pipe inside the inner wing , which will blow nicely into the airfilter

What a refreshing change,:funk: it's great to see all the fab work you've done. Can't wait to see it once it's driving. And turboing the machinery is fantastic :D

Very very clever. The engineering involved in this car is crazy!

I may have missed already in the thread, but are you tidying all of the outside once it is running etc? If so what colour you going for?

Top job though! :D

well hit a few problems on test run , first couldnt see the gauges as there were too low , so , a quick rip out and re instail on the top of the dash sorted that out
551ki1.jpg

2uqoua9.jpg

then im havin turbo problems , ie late spooling and too mutch eccess smoke which im sure is from the hx40 . so had to re do and make a combo (hybrid/with hx40 and a t3/14 houseing ,this should alter things nicely
ke7uqh.jpg

xlwmyb.jpg

but then i think thge problem isnt the turbo at fault but the angle of the return oil feed pipe , grrr , which to move this or angle this means makeing another complete manifold , so ,may be a while longer now
