i know, it's slightly off the wall but i like it, it's not a gold gold as it is and i think it could be toned down to compliment the platinum, but a daft as it sounds i don't know if it would suit the style of wheel, if it was a euro look shall we say i think it could work, thats why i think they will end up gloss or matt black

well at weekend i decided that as i'd done the front calipers i might as well now do the rears as they were going a nice pink shade. Quick wipe down with some gunk and then 3 coats of clear laquer took them from this.....

looking at them behind the wheel i think gives you a better impression imo
I also took on a new co-pilot in the form of Sid The Sloth
and the final update for this week are the light covers. Not 100% decided on the yet, they do look better from a few feet away but i'll give them a week to see if i like them, got them cheap enough of EMPI5 anyway.
Oh and just letting you all know to save anyone who may want one some money, i got a 2 tonne trolley jack and 4 axle stands for £20 delivered next from Wickes, bargain imo and good quality

i'm sure it would have had a go if i was driving down the road it was running up and down on constantly, it was taken on gti's, corrado's, 172's all of which he overtook and if some cases continued to gain. Twas' money!
not a fan of the covers Tim, yours is such a clean car and it seems a shame to clutter it! just my opinion of course
