Hi all. Went for a test drive in an FR tonight at my local seat dealers, Very nice drive! It was on an 07 plate with 30000 on the clock, Xenon upgrade and 18" upgrade. It was up for £12990, They would give me £2000 for my Xreg Leon 20VT sport with lots of mods and 90000 on the clock. Do you guys think its a good offer? Im not sure but the FR was stunning:love:

hi there,
just for comparison, my local dealer had for sale 2 months ago a year old Cupra in silver with zenons and only 12k on the clock, the price was the same as the FR you've looked at. Personally, I think it's slightly high and there are plenty about now, but maybe the Cupra was just a small bargain?
good luck in your search mate:D

Is that a petrol or diesel FR?

If it's for a petrol that's overpriced, I'd want a Cupra for that sort of money, probably a bit less.

As an example I got rid of my Cupra in October and it ended up at a main SEAT dealer. That car didn't shift until about March at which point they would have let it go for about £13K. That was with 14K miles on the clock.

so realistically how much one could expect to slash of the screen price from the Seat dealer - £1000? less then that?

I paid £13k for mine a month ago, 2008 FR170 tdi in red with 15,000 on the clock. It has the factory leather seats too which made it a cracking deal in my opinion. I also got £3k for my Megane part ex which I had up for sale privately for £2.5k :)

I paid £11k for a 57 plate FR petrol with 18" wheels, and 19000 miles on the clock in February just gone. It doesnt have xenons or bluetooth but was in great condition so I think the price you have been quoted is high.

They gave me £4K off the 11k for part ex my 04 60000 mile Clio 182.
