Haha! The man feels my pain! No but seriously - if you add 8 stone or however much she weighs, that's gotta make some difference!!

I was first run - but still beat Andy off the line. ;) Got a really good launch, but it did just spin up to the limiter and I held it there as it seemed to be pulling alright! 2nd launch I didnt build enough revs and it just bogged down. :( Pulled it back though and got in the lead when I got traction.....

When I had it hybrid mapped, the EGR was totally shut off by VAGCOM anyway so it wasnt functioning anyway. So no light has come up or anything. :)

The only thing is, with the ASV removed, when you turn the car off it is a lot rougher. It's like you stall instead.

surely if you have standard tyres on your 16s then it wont make a difference as the rolling radius is the same and with them not being so wide more chance to spin?

EGR stutter seems to be common on the later Ibiza's! My parents suffers badly from it on an 08 plate FR.

ASV is anti shudder valve. When you turn your engine off, it softens the engine wobble and also, if the car is going to run on it's own oil and blow itself up, the ASV is meant to stop it.... I say MEANT to stop it, but whether it would or not is a different story.

Who says they'll be standard? ;)

Is it STILL not right? I love how mine goes now! :D Shame I have a knocking/cracking noise :( Thinking it's wishbone bushes gone as Will did say they were on their way out. Whether that was true or not I dont know - but I'm getting them replaced soon so hopefully will sort it. Any one else got other ideas?
