None as yet mate

Car is still at Bill's awaiting parts so he can start the downpipe and then move onto the mapping

All being well i'm hoping to collect next weekend, will depend on parts and Bill's workload though

It wont be at the meet then will Martin be driving you?

I wont be able to make it now mate, got lots to do at home now as my brothers arriving back from China a couple of weeks early

No worries mate, was looking forward to seeing it at Inters, but I guess I'll have to wait until next year !!!

Maybe just maybe it will make it to a show at some point, i've got a feeling it will be off the road this time next year ;)

I doubt it, a house is next on the cards so ibiza will be stripped to a bare shell in the garage and worked on as and when.

I do however have a spare 20vt engine i picked up that i will probably end up building into something a bit special (funds allowing ofcourse)

I know someone who currently has a white mk2 that could do with that engine being dropped into it.

You wouldn't want it at the moment, it needs 20 valves replacing and possibly the block boring out, spot on for a 1.9 or bigger conversion though ;)

It will be getting stripped to a bare shell and any rust etc treated and maybe a new coat of paint

Update time :)

Well i picked the car up from Bill's today and all i can say is it's great :)

3" downpipe is a squeeze due to the rear engine mount but it's in there and looks the part, it's been made in 2 pieces with a V band connection just above the steering rack so should make removing it easier if i need to.

Mapping wise there were a few suprises in store but thankfully Bill was able to sort these and get it mapped, it's now spiking to 25psi and holding around 22 at redline.

On the road it just wants to pull, 1st gear is wheelspin city, 2nd grips and goes and it just keeps on pulling through the gears untill stupid speeds.
There's a slight clutch slip in 5th that i need to sort but i'm not suprised with it only running a stock vr6 clutch.

The drive home was eventfull with a boost pipe deciding it wanted to pop off under full boost in 5th, that meant a quick repair at the side of the motorway and then i took it easy for the rest of the trip home.

Big thanks to Bill for the work he's done and i look forward to getting it on track and giving it some stick :D
