Out of interest, how much do they charge for a refurb? I need mine doing!

Hey Riko, mine cost me £60 + VAT, I dropped it off yesterday afternoon and it was done in a day.

It pretty much had a small chunk missing from the edge where the previous owner must have driven it up a brick wall or something! :p

Looks as good as new, really happy with it.

Not a bad price £280. Was quoted £320 by a place on the A10 yesterday to have mine done but can't justify that sort of money so started doing mine myself. :)

I will be showing it on at least one of the days of inters, are you going?

Good luck with those wheels Ed..... you need to be saving ;)

What are you using to do yours Mr Wookie? Although it's good, I don't want to let go of that much money at the moment! I'm eyeing up pristine wheels as they do some sort of exchange with their wheels so you can still use your car while your wheels are away...?

Good old fashioned elbow grease!!;)

Stripped down, repaired small marks, and prepped ready for spraying over the past few evenings just waiting on paint I've ordered from Autoglym. Gonna stick pics up on my thread when done. :)

Ah ok then, your words of warning are good enough for me! What's involved with refurbing them yourself and where can you get it from? Think I'm going to go down this road until I have spare cash!
