my car has decided it doesnt need to hold on to its fluids anymore....has anyone heard of an incontinent LCR before

ill be under the car later (to see if its driveable) and then run it down to Totalvag to get it up on their ramp to have a proper look.

the strange thing is i hadnt driven it.... i then started it to move it on the drive, turned it off and left it for about 6hours then found a huge puddle of oil where it had been when i put it back.

if i dont get it sorted i wont be going to Inters

Twas coolant not oil... It's amazing how oily the coolant feels, horrible stuff!

Did you manage to fix it and find out what the problem was.

yes. i fixed it before taking it to the garage.

i hadnt noticed it the day before because it wasnt running when i had a quick check..... with the engine running there was a steady stream coming from the temp sender. a quick clean up and some grease and it has been fine.

had me worried for a while though.

My filter has arrived from the states i get it tomorrow, thanks Nick

No worries mate! I cleaned my with the cleaning kit, i was horrified how dirty the cleaning fluid/water was.. looking nice now, but still some rust! Your duel cone will look ver nice! Logs to morrow night

Any reason you bought the filter from the states and not from uk. Any links to it for a looksey.

Filter is not stocked in the uk by my contact so had to wait for it to come from the US, im sure he will upload a pic 2morro when its fitted

Have you done any logs with the new filter to see how it flows?
Engine rebuild, sounds interesting
Will it be done for the SCN show?
