It's a terrible water trap which I've only heard of on the black models? I'm going to fill the gap around the window with a black rubber sealant to stop it happening again! New one looks perfect which is goowd! Did you have this problem with yours?

New treads!

Took delivery of my new tires from camskill, very good service, not to mention the price!!

I was very torn between Eagle F1's and Toyo T1R's as I've had both and am equally impressed. I opted for the Toyo's as I'm trying to save more penies for other things so going to have them fitted with my MOT.

Also had the car up checking all the lines and suspension etc and giving them a nice coat of wax oil... Had to dodge the rain a bit though!

Old betsy in the background... yes I still have her!!

Rico: Nice little motor you have there, looks like she´s in a god home:)

Was wondering how you would rate your pss9 susp. Have you tried the different setting (1-9) and witch settings are you running?

Thanks mate, yeah she's in a very good home!! I haven't had the chance to compare them to other coilies but these are awsome! As said by many, the best you can get! I haven't adjusted them but I believe they're on setting 7 or 8? Perfect for what I want.

yes mate, i looked at 2 black ones with rust on the boot and it was 3rd time lucky for me, that one was spot on.

One of my mates went though and his is silver though thats been rectified now too, like you said though it does let the car down

The new tyres were for the superT's which are all on now!! Feels like it's on rails again and is so light!
Bit of a problem with the MOT tho in that my car is too low for their ramps! LOL! booked in with another place who use a pit, but I don't fancy the look of them much so may find an alternative!

if its to low for the ramps then it will probally be to low for the brake testing machine thats probally what the problem is as im pretty sure mot ramps are normally level four poster ramps.
so you will probally have to possibly raise the car abit if its a case of not being about to get the car on the brake testing rollers.
i might be completly wrong there but im pretty sure im not.
hope all that makes sence.

They didn't say there would be a problem as they had done a honda earlier which is just as, if not a bit lower than me! The brake test can surely be done from underneath anyway...?

the brake test is where they drive the car into what looks like a rolling road then do a series of checks via a computer to check the brakes are balanced the same on both sides left and right both front and back your car would have to be really low to not be able to go one though.

I was hoping they could extend the ramps a bit so I could go on, but he's had to turn a few away because of this. Gutted as they are doing an offer on MOT's for £25! I've found another garage which uses a pit and I'm sure I've used them before. The rollers are built into the floor so no ramps needed  although they are quite long so hopefully wont catch the bumper getting onto them?
My car is quite low...

brake testing wont be a problem. they will just brake test it on the road using what i think is called a tapley meter which will measure the braking force applied and give a reading on a clock. they use them on 4wd cars. the mot tester can refuse to test the car if its too low to jack it up and will fail it. almost had it with my gf 106.

She passed MOT!

Well it's all good! Not that I had any reason to worry tbh but I hate any kind of tests! Only an advisory on the front tires which I know are close anyway. The chap who put it on the rollers was about 70, it was so funny watching this old guy get in my car and maneuver it! Made me chuckle and he saw the funny side.

Was a bit hairy when driving onto the rollers as we knew it was going to be close and oh my...

It's actually touching the floor with no gappage for even a strand of hair, but that didn't appear to put any stress on the bumper itself. As I mentioned I removed the splitter and good job too! I'm sure they would've failed her otherwise!

well done to your car always a good feeling when your car passes an mot.
when are the all important new tyres going on?
theres a man in my local area who is about 60 odd driving a mk3 ibiza cupra r makes me laugh everytime i see it also think its a waste i bet the poor car is desperate for 4000 revs or more lol.

Lol make him an offer on it, you never know! Thanks matey it's another weight off my mind, means I can get on with fitting the de-cat now! The tires are on but were for the rear, I'll be buying the fronts in a weeks time. Quite happy to stay with T1R's aswell they grip like fook!
