I havent done a run with a vagcom yet (will be doing so very soon) but the car pulled 241BHP at a recent rolling road around 3 weeks ago. She has her "final' map now so she is running well.i dont see why not Maz... with that much boost you must be shifting tons of air.
what sort of figures do you see? im not up on diesel tuning really.
i dont see that it has to be a dynatwist (expense) why not a ramair if you are going to cut it up?

your car is awesome Maz. we should arrange a car day in better weather?
Cheers mate. I'll have a bash.Hehe filter is on order
MBC is a great idea and something im definately going to do.... after getting the Cam chain sorted. if you know what to listen for its quite clear at the start and end of the video.
i marked out the area i didnt want then used a 55mm hole saw in the corners and joined up the holes with a jigsaw. finished with a file, flapwheel then some wet and dry.
its not about money mate, id do it for nothing if i had spare time. its very easy... it took me 40 mins, if you get stuck ill help you out.
Great figures, Aaron, I'd like to see that on a RR now. Don't they sound good with the timing advanced?
I'm a little at a loss to explain the MAF size issue
Amazing work on the filter housing. To be honest, as someone who was a big CAI proponent who moved onto pure open cone, I'd be interested to see some logs on yors with just the filter and no housing.......
You can totally hear the chain but would never of initially put it down to that.
How did you suss out what it was?
Induction sounds ace, where was the camera when you were filming that? In the car on the dash board?
It's really good to see people forging ahead with the thinking behind these cars, well done.
Aaron you take ur car in today? CAn you get the ID of the pipe that fits on the to TB and if you can the ID of the CIA? 80mm i think?
Thanks Ed
my MAF doesnt have any holes in it at all. i would like some definate fixing for it. you only have to ask Dave about killing MAFs
