Have you put the bigger brakes on your toledo then, have you had to change the hubs??

I should hopefully have my new hubs and brakes on by the end of this week, if i get a chance to do them on saturday :D

Also ive been thinking about the options for a fmic, forge have just taken the pi55 to be honest. they got me a slot for the 23rd of feb, this was back in december last year. So ive been doing some measuring and thinking about it very hard, and the cupra 180 20vt forge fmic will fit, with the addition of 1 extra pipe, that a metal fab near me have said they will make one for me for a few beers which is a touch.

Here are a few pics

As you can see, basic intercooler from the front

I have found out the smic on the tdi and 1.8 20vt are in the same place, well are the same intercoolers actually so the lower pipe will fit onto my pancake pipe as shown

And this is the upper intercooler hose which i will cut as the same in the picture, and a metal fab place have said that they will make a pipe up from the silicone bend coming off the egr pipe to join onto this hose in the pic.

This will be done when i have some money, skint at the moment :( lol

Well just a little update, I put the bigger brakes on, needed new track rod ends and bull joints, the tracking needs doing and to bleed the brakes again as we did them but they are very spongy and the pedal touches the floor easily. I'll get pics up later or tommorow ;)

when you bleed remeber to bleed from both nipples on the master cyclinder,,, this is what gave me all my trouble

Please explain in a novice way, I don't have a clue, well not that good at bleeding brakes, I still need to learn lol, it was my mate who bleed them :)

Today i bled the brakes with the help of my dad and the brakes and sharper, not as sharp as they can be, but are sharp enough for my liking, i may re bleed them next week at some point. Also getting the tracking done today as i had to change all the bull joints and track rod ends. Here is a pic of it all fitted :)

thanks mate, it feels so much better with the new brakes :)

Also another problem, went to clean the car this morning and noticed loads of green grease on the passenger side alloy. I thought that weird. So I took the wheel off and it revealed the grease is coming from a tiny hole on the cv boot, bugger. Hopefully getting a new boot fitted this wednesday then everything is done for a while now and I mean that
