Josh, the camber doesn't look too extreme but as you said I do need to get it read to see what it is.

Baldo, its still on the standard map but the way it handles now is something else.
I have a totally neutral handling with pretty much zero body roll and a HUGE amount of grip.
I pumped up the tyres to 36 PSI all round and it seems to have made a huge difference. One of the rear tyres was at 30 PSI so it was a good bit under the 33PSI for normal running.

the ONLY LCR thread that I have seen such maticulous detail gone into handling and the important benefits of this

well done to you mate. All these little changes will add up to a massive improvement and will be remarkably better than a lot more supposedly faster cars out on the track when you get there

ARB's IMO made the biggest difference, even over the KW's which I currently run

Cheers Tony, some call it detail some call it being anal.
The thing is now I know the handling is sorted its time perhaps to look into other things

Just getting myself trained now.
Once I'm trained and I'm finding the limits of the car I'll get it corner weighted/balanced
I will be looking to getting REVO stage 1 done at some point as canna afford the 3" DP and remap just now to get me the Stage 2.
Also this depends on how long my gear box/clutch lasts, if this goes I'll be getting the box reconditioned and fitted with a diff. THeres still the light weight alloys to get at some point too so we will see what comes or goes first, lol

On the 1.8T, I would probably go with the Star Map Wil. Richards car is awesome. I will keep my eyes peeled for a decent used downpipe for you in the mean time so you can realise the potential of your car!

I've tried to get Issam to give me an answer about these but he seems very busy just now and not too sure i would benefit from these just now.
I do plan to try these at some point, not too sure when though. The more I tick off my list the more gets added

I'll let you know 1 - if they fit, 2 - what they're like to live with and 3 .... if they're any good!

Well thats me booked onto my first and second track days.

Both at Knockhill, Thursday the 18th and Friday the 19th of June.
Holidays are booked. The first one I'm on the reserve list for the track Scotland night at Knockhill and the second one I have a tuition day with an instructor at KH.

The cars handling is feeling awesome, gave a shot to one of our forums members who said it was AWESOME in braking and handling.

Cheers guys, I'm glad I've done it the way I have as the handling is sorted and hopefully don't have to do anything more other than changing the rear axle bushes and get the car corner weighted/balanced once I get better at driving
