They were cheap and they seem in perfect condition.
I really can't afford to buy these just now but too good a deal to walk past as I had dreamed of buying these at some point any way.

I have found this a very informative thread and it has given me some insight to the problems that I may encounter when I shortly get down to sorting my suspension out.

Can anyone tell me if the lower wishbone on the LCR is the same as the one fitted to the TT roadster?

The reason I ask is the fitting of new bushes looks to be difficult and I intend using the TT bushes therefore, the easy option would be to buy new TT arms with the bushes already fitted.

The other option is to get the LCR arms and get TT bushes fitted before I start the job saving some time.

best to go for oem, not other lcr arms mate, to be safe....

or maybe try a scrappies to get a decent used set.

easier to do than taking yours off, no time pressure then.

im looking into this now, whilst thinking of hybrid ko3s turbo route..mmmh choices

Well.
fFnally after too long i've gotten rid of my knock/rumble/vibration.
Turns out it was the ball joints, i had suspected these so had bought two of these and nuts from David at Seremotors.
Car fail MOT last week so spent Monday holiday lying in puddles fixing the ball joints and rear spring. Car failed on...
Rear high level brake light obscured/not working
Broken rear offside spring
Number plate spacing not correct.

So new plate was fitted, spring was changed for the OEM one I bought from Dolby on here and the ball joints were changed for the new LCR ones i got from David at Seremotors.

I had toyed with fitting my coilovers but wanted to get the MOT out of the way.

The rear high level light was a bastid to do. The spoiler needs to be removed, there are three bolts holding this on underneath the boot trim. With this removed the spoiler is only held onto the boot with the electrical supply which is just a snap together connector.

Got the light from David at Sere for £39. After changing this spoke to some guys at work and they have just taped this up or sprayed this black.

So MOT is passed and this weekend if the weather is good the coilovers will be going on, WOO HOO.

As there is very limited information about setting these up for the track and handling I'll be using Dolby's settings for a start then get testing to see how these suit my car and how the changes effect the handling.
Really looking forward to getting these on and feeling how good the handling will be.

Will be interested to see how you find them Willie, i'm about 93% tempted down this road myself although won't be going V3 - just the baby Weitec Hicon kit - main thing i'm after is losing the diving under braking which perversely stops me going quite as low as others who use this. ( CupraRoss)

Once you are faced with all the adjustments the V3's do become quite daunting.
I got them for cheaper than the Hycons so couldn't say no.
Same as you Fester, I find my braking is suffering with the 96,000 miles springs and shocks
