Well.
fFnally after too long i've gotten rid of my knock/rumble/vibration.
Turns out it was the ball joints, i had suspected these so had bought two of these and nuts from David at Seremotors.
Car fail MOT last week so spent Monday holiday lying in puddles fixing the ball joints and rear spring. Car failed on...
Rear high level brake light obscured/not working
Broken rear offside spring
Number plate spacing not correct.
So new plate was fitted, spring was changed for the OEM one I bought from Dolby on here and the ball joints were changed for the new LCR ones i got from David at Seremotors.
I had toyed with fitting my coilovers but wanted to get the MOT out of the way.
The rear high level light was a bastid to do. The spoiler needs to be removed, there are three bolts holding this on underneath the boot trim. With this removed the spoiler is only held onto the boot with the electrical supply which is just a snap together connector.
Got the light from David at Sere for £39. After changing this spoke to some guys at work and they have just taped this up or sprayed this black.
So MOT is passed and this weekend if the weather is good the coilovers will be going on, WOO HOO.
As there is very limited information about setting these up for the track and handling I'll be using Dolby's settings for a start then get testing to see how these suit my car and how the changes effect the handling.
Really looking forward to getting these on and feeling how good the handling will be.
