ive read loads tonight on this, lots of post about WMI killing TB's but mine is only running rough on idle, its rapid otherwise but running very rich (im guessing as it pops and farts)

Worth putting the pipes back on...?? Kept mine on with a pressure still feeding in and no problems tried without and ran like a bag of poo. N249's have been known to throw up weird faults! :)

Pop and farting could also be to much air.... :) EDIT (which of course would cause it to run rich.....yes I'm special I know!!! ;) )

Checked for any obvious boost leaks? If there was a leak sucking in air and causing the car to overfuel would the MAF not go ape trying to compensate for it?? If its of any help I got a boost leak tester??

:) car is sorted... The throttle body was totally naffed.

Greg @ totalvag has lent me a TB until my new one arrives on saturdayish

Totalvag have always been extremely helpful, I can't say enough good things about them. It's so nice to have a tuning company like that on your doorstep. Thanks Greg
