coolant or not ?

Hi all Yes I am a Newbie and prob should be posting this elsewhere? But just wanted to ask a simple question about coolant I have a mk1 Leon se 20 v etc,etc and need to top up my coolant I know it needs g12 but I have bought some halfords advanced (red) and they told me it's as good but im still unsure about this can anyone confirm this or shall I boot it into touch demand my loot back and seek out the correct g12 from seat dealer or the like of?

If it has the same additives then it should be ok but I got a 1.5Ltr bottle of G12+ for £4.63 on Sat.

Ger rid and get the right stuff.
Dilute the G12 to suit.

If it's unopened then take yours back and get a refund if your that bothered. The G12+ is concentrated so you mix it as well. Some of Halfords own is premixed and you get 50:50 if your lucky.
I got mine from a local TPS place. Always seem cheaper than a dealer for parts.

The halfauds stuff is completely alright for the job as its been officially approved by VW/audi
it even says on the bottle.
Plus its already diluted down

Halfords Advanced with BASF Glysantin is 100% correct. Its exactly the same as G12.

I'm using G12plus at the moment, lovely purple colour
