car's now in for repair (see my other thread re: old granny reversing into side of my car!), if i'm happy enough with job bodyshop does i'm considering getting them to quote me to supply 2 x new mirror surrounds sprayed same colour as car (mine's speed blue or whatever it's called.) think i'd prefer them the same colour as car.

anyone else opted to do this? i don't really like them being a different colour.

i had mine done in hi gloss black along with all other rough plastic trim. As i have have chrome mirror caps it didn't matter about getting them in body colour. also you'lll find polishing the car easier.

Mines the silvery colour like this.I think you should be able to respray them easily. They just prise off with a small screwdriver or an old credit card so I was told.

Candy white for me...to match the car.

I wasn't keen on the Std Cupra black ones, and the white covers contrast with the black mirror surround nicely.

I had these specially sprayed up by the dealer. :D
