awww that's a bit disappointing if that's the case :(

still awaiting anxiously for it to arrive

has anyone got a photo of their engine with it fitted?? what do you guys mean by fitting it in reverse to get more noise out of it (please don't just say put it in reverse!)

well i haven't had ne probs with it no engine light on its makes it dump alot better with the remap aswell i will try and do a proper guide i will have 2 find out wot size t piece i got but i know u need 2 25mm blanking plugs i think all together it cost me about 30 quid at the most 2do

Steve, have you got the Mk4 Ibiza Cupra??

got a pipercross panel filter other than that all standard

didn't bypass the n249 - from the pictures and looking at the engine couldn't make head nor tail of it - changing the T bit around would leave a pipe unconnected and couldn't see where that unconnected pipe should go?

yep printed it off - wasn't just me my friend who was helping me couldn't understand it either

might have been better if there were a couple of pictures closer up

still a bit gutted - thought there would be some difference to the car

All the hoses/clips on the DV tightened up - should get a louder "dump" noise but also should notice quicker response when changing up the gears and pushing hard - didn't notice any real change in volume of ours pre and post map, but a proper DV is recommended for all maps :)

If no joy we can all have a look at the next EA meet :) Been reliably informed by Ken that the ports etc. are the same size between Beeza and Leon, so can always try our DV30 :)

thanks Kev

I'm at brands next weekend with you lot so i'll bung some tools in the boot and we can all have some fun taking my car apart at some point during the day :D

gonna try and get my hands on some more vac pipe and clips

kriso has done a good diagram of the n249 bypass you left a comment in there did you not look at that diagram? it looks quite helpfull although i havent even taken my engine cover off before to be able to help you there as ive only had the car a thew months.

Yer we had that diagram printed out & even grabbed my laptop to take another look but couldn't work out where all the pieces of pipe should have ended up. the way i read it there would have been quite a few loose ends of pipe work.

Though it would have been a lot easier if we had had the right size vac pipe & jubilee clips. :p so much for short skirt & cleavage flattery.

Though in good tradition all is well thats bogged well, a little electrical tape added to the ends of the vac pipe to bulk it out for the clips to bite on to soon had it sorted for a temporary measure.
