yeah i am thinking about tints, tis pretty much a must for a darker car. i dont want 'em too dark as it looks chavvy and i dont want 'em too light as they wont be very noticable. i think im too picky

yeah i agree mate, i want a tint thats noticable but not too chavvy. is 25% is noticable enough?

well my gf is, she thinks it'll match if she redoes it. somehow i think with spray cans it wont. i'll let her try though, hopefully she can prove me wrong if not i'll pay to get it done

Cost my £100 for my bumper to get sprayed. Make sure you get the sanding done good and proper and then primer ( wet sanding between layers ). Not sure if it will shine the same with halfords clear lacquer or not. Good luck!

heh i'd love to, i'm gunna try to hold out til next year really. get the savings in so it doesnt seem like i'm spending so much

i really like the new mk5 bocangra but its a bit too pricey, i think i'll stay with a mk4 for my next car, fr or cupra. if i see a nice candy white one at a good price i will be very tempted but i'm gunna try and hold out and see if the prices get any better

Had a letter today regarding import tax on my headunit, want to charge me ?42, ouch. last headunit i got imported from the same shope i didnt have to pay the tax =/ oh well at least it works out cheaper than the UK price

Getting it from the USA, place called sonix i think. total cost with import tax and shipping was around ?285. doesnt seem quite as good of a deal with the import tax. still, its still not too bad as the uk one is around ?350. still got to get an ipod cable too

should arrive tomorrow, i cant wait

Got them from ebay buddy, cost me £150 which was pretty good i thought. probably the best place to look without spending too much i've seen some really nice ones on there. you can also get them at the stealers but they're extortionate
