Forge is 700quid for a reason, no dicking about making brackets and cutting bits of your car off, 2nd its a proven product that works very very well and 3rd and most importantly, its made by forge, tried tested and so welll made with excellent customer support thats second to NONE!

Better to save up for the best you can get than buying twice. Just my opinion

yeah as with everything, you buy to your budget, as im only keeping this until july theres no point spending money on it so the uni cooler does the job for my needs. if i had big plans then itd be forge all the way

Thanks for all your suggestions, what im looking to do to my car is either ko3s or ko4 from tt for the car. i will be getting larger mainfold, injectors etc and already have milltek downpipe and race cat. For a car that will be running 250bhp max will the intercooler from ebay be sufficient? Also is it better to just buy a seperate one from ths and get my own pipework as everyone is saying that the pipework on th ebay item is cr*p? thanks

I like the look of the ebay kit and it 'does the job' which is one thing. Cannot really compare to FORGE one due to quality and support but it's the same as anything. more on the market gives more choice.

i might get one TBH. Just the under engine pipe is a bit low.

why does it seem like everyone is kissing forge's a**. my god get a life. these threads have been going on for too long. wish there was something that could be done about it. they get tedious. everyone arguing. we all know what the kits are like. just get what you can afford. you pay for what you get so please everyone just do what you got to do.

Its true, to be fair the person that started the thread should realise that this topic has been covered hundereds of times. Everyone has their opinion, which is what makes forums a great place for discussion. By now people should know what the budget kits are and the more expensive ones are, just buy what suits you at the time and be happy :D

Well I did do a search and found only 2 or 3 threads on this kit from ebay. All I need to know Is if any1 has fitted this is the pic on ebay how it looks in the end?I'm talking about the pipe hanging low under the engine. Cheers.

Like I said I have one, if I can give you any advice it is to takr your time fitting it, do not rush it as all.

The pipe that runs under the engine is low! mine scrapped so I had to cut back one end on each 90 deg pipe that makes the U shape on the drivers side of the intercooler so it sat higher (if that dont make sense tell me and ill draw it in paint), then get some massivly thick cable ties and tie it tight to the beam under the engine, also dont use the black original pipe that comes down from the charge pipe, get yourself a silcone striaght piece as mine kept poping off cos the black oem one is ****

like they said invest in proper hose clamps as well, the jubilees that come with the kit are rubbish

Cheers guys.

On the topic of discussing previously discussed matters....I can see your point but there is a flip side.

New members join all the time and like to add there 2 pence worth (which is great. No such thing as too much info. i work in Intelligence gathering lol)

I'll have a search for that fitting guide mate. Thanks.

just get another 90deg bend and re route the pipe under the fmic. this will lift it up a bit and wont be so low.
