Stange. See with 400ft/lbs it shouldnt be making that sort of bhp going by what other have made.
Maybe slightly upwards of 250 but very little more if anything. To be fair having been in a hybrid pd130, I think no matter what the results, if its over 220bhp its going to be MEGA quick.

That's what I thought. I did reply to them saying "Well your customer is a very lucky boy then!"

They didn't reply to that.....

Tbh I'm hoping for 230bhp. That'd be 100 more than standard and I'd be happy with that. I know Tall-Pall on here has got about 236 with his. And Chris (sooty22) has about 230-240 and been in both and it's nice power! :D

Anything more would be a bonus! We'll see what Will can do. He has said that 250bhp is achievable from the 130pd hybrid.

I think I'll be the first P-Torque hybrid derv on here?

To be honest, i think to get a reliable 250bhp you would be looking at uprating other parts. possibly injectors or maybe water/meth injection.
Hopefully the turnaround on your turbo will be quicker than struggers1's. Think his has been sent off for months now.

I was talking to Chris about his and he said Allards told him the standard injectors will be maxed out at 260bhp. But he also said the place where he had his sespension set up (ralley specialist) said with a different ECU he could get more out of the injectors.

iirc he also said bigger injectors were like £750

There's a guy down here with a Fabia VRS (devonutopia), he has about 250-260bhp I think and he's changed cylinder head, injectors, NOS setup....not something I wanna go into tbh!

Like I say, 230bhp will be nice! :D

Hopefully it won't take THAT long to get sorted! We'll see what Will says tomorrow. I'll update tomorrow night or Sunday! :)

I think injectors are about £500 so uprated probably are about that.

I don't wanna go around the injector changing route.... Just want to change the turbo and that be it. I don't wanna start taking the engine to bits. I know it's probably crap but i believe the engine is best "factory sealed." As soon as you take it apart and start fiddling then it seems to change somehow. Probably just me being gay but it's my theory!

Just keep an eye on inlet temps mate. I think thats why Chris went for the Allards intercooler.

Yeh I'm onto it fella! I know Chris ran his with this exact cooler (i bought it off him!) for a while. While it's cooler atm it'll be ok but come the warmer weather I'm gonna look into the SEAT sport setup.

Brakes first then new intercooler! :) Spose I better have some better stopping power seeing as though mine as standard....

hey hey just had a read through, interesting dtuff, the meet with damo was good, realy enjoyed the day!
To compare cars, i feel your right as for power delivery between petrols and dervs, i went in damoe's car and thought the rev range was great and its a hard comparrison as i feel mine would be quicker to accelerate but the petrol gets the legs once at silly speeds, but god i liked the turbo sound of the petrol:D i think its all down to personal preferance but hey i had a great time but petrol or diesel there both very fun abd very quick he he!

Yea, I knew you had bought the intercooler off him, thats why I said it. I have been playing with the idea of adding a water spray to the intercooler (like the scoobys and evo's).

As for brakes, have you seen mine clicky :D

Do any of the injectors from the bigger TDI's fit, like the audi 3.0TDI?

The turbo whistle on yours wasn't half bad fella! i love the pigeon noise they make when you let off the throttle! :D

I had thought about disconnecting my rear washer and linking it up to the crash bar......then just spraying the "rear window" to get water onto the intercooler.....that'd be an easy enough mod.

the injectora are soooooooooo fiddly as its the pulse which is so important rather than the size, also in the pd engine there a right sod to get to.....

Yeh they are....that's why I cba. :D

I was just going to get one of the mist type jets (like the front ones) and a normal washer pump that you can get from halfods for a few ££ and just 'T' into the pipe work near the washer bottle and put a button/switch in the car.

oi damo leave my pigeon alone
