If I was you,I would stick to nomad pods there prob one of the best pod's you can buy!I wouldn't go buying any other's! universal one's well be crap and I'm guessing they won't fit well!

the only other route is buying an oem a pillar plastic, and fibreglassing your own pod onto it; filling and spraying; 52mm drain pipe works well. I aim to do this at some point; at the moment i've got my gauge in a fibreglass pod infront of the gearstick angled towards me. I covered it in fake leather to make it look oem :)

It won't be until easter now I don't think; doing exams at the minute; and not home till easter - so no space to work on car bits :(

Hey guy's
I have been quoted £120 to have the boost and oil temp gauges fitted in the normad pod!
He said it's about 4hrs labour,he will do it for £100 cash in hand! being as my mate work's there he tried to get abit more money off for me! and they came up with £80?

Do you guy's think this is over priced? I'm never going to be able to fit these dial's my self!

Realistic fitting time ~2hrs if you know the leon well - longer if you have to hunt for grommets to put the vac pipe and oil temp wire through.

£80, pppfff, i would rather spend the time learning how to fit them up etc than to pay someone, they are pretty easy mate, the hardest bit is running the pipes and wires from engine to the inside, apart from that everythings a doodle ;)

hi i am right in reading that the autogauge oil sender will fit straight into the blanking hole on the oil filter housing, ive got all bits just need time to fit them an has anyone got a clear pic of where the gromet is to put hose an wire through? cheers.

Almost - its as bit too long and it warps the sender see my pic earlier in this thread.

PTFA tape and a couple copper washers help though

I've just recieved my boost gauge in the post. I think it's a perfect match for the standard cluster. It illuminates red and there's no need to spray paint the surround:
