Turkington and Jelley confirmed at Team RAC, so there's another 2 cars on the grid for definite. Still way to early to even think about drawing up a list of who's there so far.

So appears Plato didn't get a drive with Team RAC. Wonder if he'll get a drive, with Thommo at a loose end that's two top class touring car drivers available.

I suppose at least Plato is getting a 5th Gear salary, Thommo's not even getting that. It's a travesty if he doesn't end up with a drive as he's very handy. Old JP's not so bad either, but hard times mean teams don't have top dollar to pay for the big dogs I suppose. Shame.

There is a third BMW ready to be built up at the workshop should anyone have the necessary funding for it, but I can't see it being Plato, if indeed anyone gets a drive in it.

Thommo's into property development I understand and he did run an engineering firm (who built the 99-2000 BTCC Honda Accords) that he inherited from his dad, although I'm not sure if that's still going or not.

Theirs still a possibility of a third 320si. But also in the frame could be Ricardo van der Ende who tested for WSR.

Excellent news. I really rate Adam Jones, a good fast driver, but one who is very clean and respectful towards his opponents. Glad Dan Eaves is back too, be good if he could stick two fingers up to Steve Neal by finishing ahead of the Dymaniacs cars, whoever may be driving them.
