Just a side note, note sure what to read into it, but the CVR Leons aren't showing up on the live timings for the Brands test today.

Either means they still have faulty transponders, haven't run yet or just aren't there

they did sound very petrol like..with excess fumes like you might expect...

Ok - so the cars are being stripped down for Brands.

Just not testing so you'll have to wait until then to see them again!

They weren't running bio-fuel anyway, I know that. Then again, you'd never know the difference between a petrol car and a bio-fuel car purely on the sound. It just seems a very poorly prepared build up to the season by hardly doing any testing. I know they'll have Adam Jones data and experience from last year, but Dan Eaves hasn't raced a car in 2 and a half years and could do with all the running time he can get, as surely he must be a bit rusty.
