Morning All
As some of you may or may not know,i have angel eyes on the ibiza with 6k hid's installed as i bought them like this. now i know there seems to be a bit of an issue with the visibility projected with angel eyes but mine are just ridiculous despite the hid's. it seems when i switch them on,they fire as normal, taking the clocks out still even though they're relayed but seem to lose their projection rapidly. they've never been great but as most of my driving is around town it hasn't really been noticeable.last week driving on unlit country roads i would say it was at best dangerous as i could only see just in front of the car and had to stick my fogs on to get any kind of decent projection.it was a bit foggy, wasn't being chavvy
anyway,i've been told that they may not be getting the power through so need to stick a tester on them,it is both sides despite one having a newer ballast than the other, but i've yet to do this. i have a spare set of hid bulbs at home,so could try these but am thinking as i've got to do country runs etc at the weekend,to just get a set of xenons and shove those in for the time being?? am i going to be able to put those in as a straight swap seeing as the lights have been messed about with? haven't had a chance to go and have a play with them due to weather and early darkness etc so would welcome all suggestions.i think the angels are h7 bulbs on both dipped and main beam, can someone verify this for me by any chance? also are the fogs on the mk2 h3's as if i'm gonna order a set of xenons may as well get the whole lot!!
sorry for the length of this, usual early morning ramble
