She had projection issues cos someone fitted H7 bulbs in an H1 one light. Fitted H1 for her this evening and it's 100% better however i'm still not happy with how they fit, looks like the bulb might even be a short H4 on those light units.

Didn't realise until today how flakey the electrics on the Mk2 are .... with the HID lights on, the car didn't even have enough juice to crank the engine. Can you not fit bigger batterys to these - does that cure the issue?

PAH,H1,H7'S.same difference ;) seriously though, even though i shoved h7's in they were a whole world better than the h1's that came out so seems those bulbs were naffed. strangely enough, after the incident of the car not firing, she's had no further issues and low n behold the clocks aren't going mental either:D finally!! however i definitely need to get them sorted properly....cheers Pat for the help!

I know what you mean about the high beam, Ive got a h4 hid kit and the low/dipped beam is brighter than the high, been flashed at loads.

all finished and setup up and looks like you i cursed myself :)

noticed clock was at 12:00 - Doh!!!

works fine when on for a while and all warmed up but on initial turn on displays disappear for a second and needles in the speedo reset

will add relays to em later but minor hassle right now to be honest

Too much like hard work for a saturday although there's a lot more room in the Mk2 Ibiza ..... if you take out the battery and airbox. I don't think anyone with big hands could do it thats for sure./

ye i guess i am used to it - never bothered me but long handled angle nose pliers help :p

Ibiza 2 bulbs - easy

Ibiza 3 bulbs - tight but doable at a squeeze

Leon is tight but easier than a mk3

as for a ford Ka well - lose ya knuckles

and a Renault Modus - take bumper and grille and lamps out first (not kidding)
