Think you're right. ;) Cupra callipers are just bigger. Dont NEED to be. But they are.

They do need to be as they are designed for 312mm discs. They are 4 pot fixed calipers, not single pot sliding calipers like the rears or the fronts on other Ibizas. That's why I was surprised you use pads designed for 288mm discs, but suppose it's not that much difference in size. But they wont bite as well as if you got the bigger calipers.

Correct. :)

The best thing to do is to change the calliper too but you dont NEED to. And yes the fixed 4 pots are better than the floating callipers like we have on our "common" Ibiza's. :cartman:

The common mod is just the change the carriers and discs though. ;)

Thats a very good price mate.

I dont think mine are zink coated so I have been thinking of spraying them with some silver hammerite to stop them oxidizing.

I'm pretty sure you need the TT callipers too as they look quite different to the PD130 callipers. I would know for definite if I ever get my butt into gear and get the TT set up fitted thats been sitting in my garage for months!

Ah right, good idea.

Really like the new colour of your wheels mate. Suits the car very well :)

Thanks mate.

I just think a little hammerite would do the world of good for protecting the discs and would look good if I can get a dark colour like the colour of my wheels.

Did you get the DS2500s, Damo? Mine are rubbing in this cold weather, I think the calipers must contract slightly in the cold or something..think I can file them down a little so they fit better tho.

So this Saturday coming then for the brake package to go on?

Depending on if the pads are here mate. If they are here before I'll stick them on thursday/friday (I believe bill was getting all his Ferod stuff monday/tuesday).

Fingers crossed :)
