I just found it easier with ramps as the suspension is already compressed and there's nothing touching the rear beam as you need to mount the bar to it. Watch out on those icy roundabouts when you get it fitted :D

Hopefully my next mod... although the wife is ranting on about how we need to be saving money at the moment!

The only problem with starting to mod a car is: the latest mod is never enough, you always look to the next mod (and usually more expensive!) :cartman:

 That will be expensive! The trouble is knowing when to stop. I'm off to a party at a casino tonight so I might have some money to spend on mods tomorrow... or maybe not! [B)] Last time I went I left £250 up...

 Yeah right! Last time I had to buy the wife a new handbag to keep her from moaning too much! I give myself a strict limit though, so if I blow it, then that's it for the night! 9I have only been twice EVER so its not as if I'm addicted or anything... not like modding!)

Axle stands will be fine! You place them under the spring cups.

I'm just saying if you can get hold of both, get the ramps. It's not impossible with stands or anything, but you can see from my pic how the stands under the spring cups can get in the way when you need to swing the bar into position:

I see where your coming from, Kris. It would be much easyer with ramps.

I'll see if I can get hold of some. If not I'll just have to make do with axel stands.
