Even if you put a Split-R on it wont be very loud, A remap and an open cone filter or a modded O/E airbox will help but they are still not very loud.
Stick with your 007 and do the above mods.

Ok I think i will go for the Green Cotton open airfilter first and see how it that changes it!will the green cotton increase inlet temps?

I have the exact dump valve as you cupralad and just modded my original air box and the DV noise is much louder and very noticable from inside the car. Mine was silent to begin with.

so what way is the loudest way to fit the dv?

Wearing something like this while your fitting it will probably be quiet loud, defo wake the neighbours up :happy:

From what I have read on here fitting it in reverse makes it louder I am going to do it to mine at the weekend hopefully so be interesting to see, believe its perfectly fine to do it like this.

i found that a smoothed and drilled airbox is very similar in loudness to an open cone filter - certainly loud enough for people to comment when first in the car! the dv can be orientated either way, it is only a simple valve. When I reversed mine the woosh turned to a metallic chirp; i've since returned it to standard direction. The N249 bypass made my dv significantly louder; not sure why!
