Thats quite a conclusive test Rob, If the butt Dyno says yes then you can't argue with that. Have you checked with vagcom if the fault is still there. mine will register a fault at idle after a fault code reset.
On vortice someone painted their SEM black like APR and looked very nice.

good stuff Rob

although as someone mentioned, does it not make it more laggier...as in more room to fill with air etc from the manifold, but of course making top end power better due to higher flow?

Thanks!

Perhaps once the SEM is filled with boost pressure it reduces lag due to the amount of air it holds, plus the 80mm TB lets in alot more air than the stock one? Don't know, all I know is that it does not feel laggy to me.

Why can't you replumb your intercooler pipework the same as Rob.

I have the pre facelift cupra, and the manifold faces the other way

I can replumb it the other way, but I need a fabricated alloy pipe to run from the turbo from the top and down the left hand side of the engine instead of the right hand side...but still it is quite tight, but should fit...hopefully

depends if Bill can do this for me

why do people think bigger pipework makes more lag?

a turbo throws out alot of airper sec. what is an extra litre going to make?
